Hopefully they'll all be books that are so good that you don't want them to end. I've read lots of books (700+ pages) that ended at the appropriate time and everything but I was still disappointed because I wanted more. If anyone can suggest a book like that then the whole deal will be worth it.
The length is more about my fear that I wouldn't have it read in time. I'm not the fastest reader!

I don't really know any books like that, as I tend to read books in series. As a school teacher I also tend to find myself drawn to books that are geared towards children. I read all kinds of books though. In fact, I am currently reading "Bored of the Rings". :D

Yeah we all read at different tempos and for different amounts of time, so as long as the thread on the book isn't archived one can discuss at any time.

How so? If you are not capable of having a mature discussion about a book of all things, then you don't have to click the thread.
