"An American Tail" and "Flight of the Navigator" ... on DVD

Hi. Two childhood favorites of mine (childhood meaning early to mid-80's) are now available for pre-order on DVD. I signed up for a service through Amazon.com where they tell you when a movie is finally available on DVD. I haven't seen these in about 15+ years because they've been out of production for about that long on VHS.

I figured someone might care. 🙂

Flight of the Navigator

An American Tail

absolutely awesome flicks.

I can't wait to see if they stand up to the test of time... looking forward to them! Even if they somehow suck now, I will still love rewatching them again.

I just saw FOTN the other day. It brought back fond memories. I completely forgot that Sarah Jessica Parker was in it.

I jealously remember the scene where David is taken to NASA, and they sweeten his stay by giving him a bedfull of new, unopened Transformers. I was soooo mad that I wasn't him. These were from the first batch of Transformers back in '86-ish. Not the later generations which sucked.

Guess this is another way of going back into your childhood. Since we don't have time machine.
Loved both of these movie.
