I read (a few years ago) that the group was actually offered $2B USD to re-group and tour.

They turned the money down. It must suck to be that rich ...

It's possible they might be that rich and that's why they turned it down.

But I had also read that some of the members honestly were so burnt out from the 70s hysteria of the band, they had no desire to start it up again. In that case, money wouldn't be an issue.

Surprised they did not do it a few years ago when Mamma Mia was big. They could have made a killing.
