an 18 yr old adopt 17 yr old?

I was really hungry and wanted to type it fast (ran to the door to pick up pizza!). Ok let me rephrase this, is it possible if the age of adoption is 18 for an 18 yr old to adopt a 17 year old? If not is the age of adoption 21/25?
 
The requirements for adopting someone isn't just "be 18 years old"... in fact, you usually have to be at least 25, have a spouse and a strong financial ability.


That, and be mature enough not to think that you could adopt a girl just to hook up with her.

:thumbsup: yup, that's pretty much how it is. Plus, by the time you actually get a child, that 17 yr old you were looking at will probally be closer to 20
 
Thats the answer I was looking for. Though you could ditch the spouce and go for your "daughter"... Hey just like in Cruel Intentions, would you screw your step brother/sister? one who is/isn't related to you at all?

I only thought of it because I'm screwed up j/k, but I just feel like since hollywood is running out of ideas they probably are in the works or about to make a movie like this. Probably going to be some cheezy love story.

Wouldn' that be ironic if those who you told to NOT breed bred and YOU end up NOT breeding?? All I can think of is screwing non related step sister's and marring your adopted daughter.
