Yes, the game is ultra pretty. But there's also some amusing physics.

Of all the ways to die, this is probably one of the more embarassing (my first grenade throw). And yes, his foot is stuck between the pipe and the wall.

Couldn't shoot him down. A grenade made him get loose, but I couldn't put him back up. One in a million shot.

Hmm, question here. Does far cry's physics engine scale down details with the settings? For example if you put it on low settings would things do different things? Would he perhaps not get stuck there in the same situation and same toss, but different settings?

Interesting question. Not sure. I know that the ragdoll physics don't really take effect until the character is dead. In this case, it's quite possible that a lower setting would've had the character landing on the floor somewhere.

In either case, this was a pretty special situation. Doubt I could recreate that if I tried. And by the way, the physics are kind of eerie. The recoil after shooting someone is particularly gross.
