What good is an AMR slot that all these new motherboards are coming out with? I mean, is there anyhting out there to actually put in an AMR slot and is it like its name would indicate good for only sound cards and modems?
 
AMR = Audio Modem Riser. Another slot to put a cheap modem or soundcard in I believe. From what I understand, if you have something in the AMR slot you should hang your head in shame. 🙂
