Yeah, have to admit this is a great cd.

Another one would be any of the Dixie Chicks.

Karen Carpenter was a Pisces. She was my hero growing up. I still remember the day she died.

I can do a pretty good imitation of her voice because my kids always insisted on me singing &quot;On Top of the World&quot; to them as a lullaby.

The only person who has come near to replacing her for me is Sarah McLachlan. She has the voice of an angel.

I like Shelby Lynne, Allison Moorer, Martina Mcbride, Shania, and Faith Hill. All sound great, oh and of course Etta James. Too hard to narrow down to just one for me.

Sarah M. doesn't have the range or pure tone of many singers, but I like the lyrical quality of her voice slightly better than most. Frankly, what makes almost all of the candidates mentioned viable is the character of their voice. They all hear the &quot;Phantom of the Opera&quot;, i.e., must sing, which always sucks me in.
