AMG only modifies Mercedes-Benz cars, correct?

Because driving back to the lab from lunch today, I saw a new Jetta with an AMG tag where the VR6 or TDI tag would go. I couldn't see anything but the rear of the car, but it got me excited. I got back to work, and furiously searched for any info on an AMG-modified Jetta, with dreams of a faster, more aggressively styled VW. No luck. I'm guessing this asshole just decided the AMG tag would look nice on his Jetta. Fscking German rice. :|

That really pisses me off, because it was somewhat believable...

If I ever see that car again, I'm ripping that damn tag off. Hell, it would be better suited on my Sebring, considering DaimlerChrysler owns AMG! jk!!
