i need to get with the times...i have my savings sitting in a normal savings account, and with the low interest rates I think i'm getting something like 0.75% :|

ING is an okay option... but if I can get a tight deal on a money markey fund paying 4.5 or 5%, I'm going to take it. I don't use the money (and don't plan on using it, at least for now), and as long as I can get to it within a day or two if necessary, I'm happy.

Yeah, if I'd had the $100k to invest back when I was 2, I would've.

My post count is high enough as it is, I don't need to nef to raise it. I'm just impatient. And lazy, for that matter.

Eh, commissions on stocks over $10 are only $7 each, but it's slightly more than Ameritrade for orders on stocks below $10 a share... $50 to purchase bonds as well; with a $5k minimum; Ameritrade is $5 per bond, for 1-50 bonds. For now, that works with me.
