Americans voted the coolest

I laughed when I heard about Canada on that list today on the radio (from Canada), but what the crap are the French doing on the cool list???

hahah - what the hell did they do?

They raised Dr. Evil (aka Dougie)for one! D:

From Wikipedia...

In Goldmember, Nigel Powers reveals that Dr. Evil is Austin Powers' twin brother and that his real name is Douglas ("Dougie") Powers. He explains that Douglas and Austin were separated as babies following a car explosion, and that he thought that only Austin had survived. Dougie was raised by Belgians, which is what made him so complex and evil. Interestingly, despite the fact that he cites his home town is Bruges, which is situated in the Dutch-speaking Flemish Region of Belgium, he claims to not know how to speak "Freaky-Deaky Dutch", instead speaking French, the main language of southern Belgium.

America is the coolest? LOL.

For all the problems here, we've driven world culture for almost a century. From music, to cinema, to clothes. Granted it was cooler before urban "culture" took over, I guess some people think that's cool :^/

Go to almost any country and you'll see some pop culture from America, music, movies, etc. No other country exports their popular culture more than America.
Other countries pick and choose from American culture more than we export it. For example, Germany had much love for David Hasselhof's singing. We didn't force it on them. Which might explain why they are on the least cool list.
