Americans too lazy to microwave their popcorn

I microwave my oatmeal and make scrambled eggs in it. Using one of those 'fancy' glass tupperware containers means I don't have to clean anything other than the dish I'm eating from and I can't burn these things. But yeah, I don't really microwave much else.

I never heard of caramel or cheddar pop corn before, don't your hands get all sticky and shit? Also what do you need maltodextrin (it's sugary right?) with cheddar for. No wonder americans are fat. I never eat pop corn and don't miss them, I don't really eat outside of meals so I never have the occasion.

three-way popcorn tins (usually in the few gallon size range; already popped)
typically they come with butter/cheese-powder/caramel, though there are many variations.
I used to see them at Orchard Supply Hardware or Office Depot or something for pretty cheap.

For pre-pooped popcorn it is hard to beat Albertson's (that's a western grocery chain) store brand. It comes in trash bag sized bags for super cheap and tastes great. You start eating and then keep eating and eating until the salt and oil turn your entire body to the consistancy of duck jerky. Then you dig around in the bottom of the bag for those last few fragments.

That's the problem. My mother gets me a big assed tin of Popcorn Factory popcorn every year for Xmas. It isn't something I want, and it would never occur to me to buy some, but I start eating that crap, and I can't stop. I pig out on it, my fingers are covered in crap, I feel disgusting, and am no longer hungry for real food. Bad stuff...

I can't be bothered to prepare something as complicated as popcorn. I built myself a computer specifically so I could place internet orders to get all my popcorn delivered via rickshaw the way God intended.

Mixo is correct. I'm proud of you, Mixo.
🙂

ATOT won't settle for anything less than this:

I don't have room for that shit.

I always wondered where my bio professors got their giant bags of "seagull" feed 😵.

Given the short amount of time that each of us has to be alive, we can't afford to be wasting it on things like waiting for popcorn kernels to heat up. There are far more valuable, memorable, and meaningful things to be done.

NEF.

We bought one of these a couple of years ago. It's made hundreds of batches and still going strong. Because of the agitator you don't have to use much oil and it never burns as long as you stir it. About 3 minutes a batch on a gas stove.

It came with a sample of this popcorn, which is so good we can't even eat the regular stuff anymore. (Doesn't work well in an air popper because the kernels are small.)

Where was the popper made? I looked on Amazon, I looked on their site, and don't see a country of origin. That a bunch of bullshit. It should be posted prominently on the sale page. I'm guessing it's Chinese, right? When something comes from a real country, it's posted so you can find it.
