There is no such thing as bad publicity.

Those familiar with church history should note the parallel between this and Christianity in the Roman Empire. There too the religion was held in very low regard, yet it grew in dramatic fashion. Another parallel is the difficulty in differentiating between the American State and the American form of Christianity.

Before Sept 11, one of the things I didn't like about Islam was that you had to pray 5 times a day. That just seems too much work for me.

I've noticed people who convert to any religion rather quickly rarely stick with it in a big way.
