Hell, I've been a 34 waist(10% bf) to a 38+. How much plus? IDK because I wouldn't try on 40's or get on the scales. Today, under the 36" but not quite comfortable in the 34's. Nothing like a poor Dr's report to make you change some habits.

I was 38ish a few years ago but back down to 33 (generally wear 34 pants a bit loose, but if I go any smaller on pants then my thighs don't fit in them). Last time I was any skinnier than this was jr year of college; I looked kind of like a skeleton then though, so I'm not really trying to lose much more.

31? How tall are you? And are you in your 20s or younger?

I was 28 waist in HS and it went up and up. <sad panda>

I'm 29. Ectomorph body type. Benefit is you lose weight quickly and tend to stay quite lean, but it's difficult to build muscle mass.

I was 28" my senior year of high school. I got all the way to 38", but since starting triathlon I'm back down to a solid 32".

I don't know what my real size is, but I usually wear 38" pants. Some fit looser than others. I'm pretty cool with my size. I have a bit of a gut, but not too much.

I'm 30" and have been there forever. Always wanted to lose the extra padding, but it doesn't work out. In fact, I be getting fats.

The actual waist size of trousers these days are actually bigger than specified. To make people feel good

Could be. 38" is pretty much a guaranteed fit for me. I'm not particular, but I can't deal with too tight. I'd rather have clothes two sizes too big, than a 1/2 size too small. 38" is never too small.

I'm hovering around a 31 waist these days. I'm a lanky bastard.
Same. I usually wear 30/30 jeans and they fit nice. I used to wear 30/32 or 32/32 in high school but back then I wore baggy crap (I'm 31 now, still weigh about the same as I did then haha).

Women average a fucking 38" waist? Christ. No wonder the majority of OKCupid and eHarmony users are fat.

I'm stuck in the middle. 34" waist slacks are way too tight. 36" slacks are too loose without a belt.

I want to get back to 34/34 again. 🙁
