Things like these don't happen overnight, genius. Our troops are still over there because they still have a job to do. One is finishing off the last remnants of the mostly foreign (non-Iraqi) insurgency, and the other is the get the Iraqi people back on their feet after decades of tyranny by Saddam. Both jobs are going quite nicely. Not as well as some unrealistic folks would like, but they are going just fine.

It's not anyone who believes the story's job to prove it. YOU are the one who said it's false, without a shred of evidence to back it up, so YOU prove what YOU say is true.

This has happened hundreds, if not thousands of times in war, so I don't see why it's so hard to believe.
Guys fight like hell, and when it's over, the medics of the winning side treat the wounded of both sides.

Hmm...either you are blind or you're watching a different video. When the soldier gets shot..he gets shot in the chest as he's turning. The shot pretty much came from 12 oclock. The shot also looks like it hit him off center to his left - causing him turn and fall even more. Sorry...when people get shot in real life they don't fly straight backwards like you see in movies.

The sad thing is - your desperate need to believe what you want combined with your brainwashed ideas got you distorting the video you see. What's even worse you could care less that a person almost died. Lemme guess - you're one of those guys who slams the "baby killing" US soldiers, but turns a blind eye to the deaths/slaughters that the "freedom fighter" terroists commit every day.

U.S. Army was the one who released and investigated the abused prisoners video tape in Abu Gharib. So it's OK for you to believe anything as long as it's anti-america, but it's a total propaganda if it's pro-america, right?
 
This is a bit off topic, but I was watching CNN and saw this clip. They were about to report that the sniper who fired on the american soldier was wounded somehow, and the unit that was fired upon actually went over there and HELPED him. I didn't see the rest of it because I had to get something to eat, but you might find it on the CNN site or something.
 
I will call into question the story as well. After the lynch/pat tillman BS, I can't bring myself to believe stories like this one that come from our government. Although from the video, I have to say this soldier did react very well to getting shot.

The page I got it from said it was an M1 abrams and Iraqi insurgent. Those sites do make up false descriptions very often so who knows.
