Naming one's child in this manner is all the proof I need to have child services take their child away from them. It speaks volumes about them as parents, if you can even call them that.

He also says that naming a child after a brand such as Armani or Chanel, associated with money or exclusivity, reflects the material hopes of such families.

Funny thing is I have read that those with obscure names tend to do worse in their careers and have less success than those with standard names. I can't help but wonder how much of that is merely their genes and upbringing though, since smart parents don't name their kids Snickers or Pepsi. I assure you it's the dumb trash people naming their kids in this manner, and not white collar parents who, instead of encouraging their child through a name, will instead put them into a good school
