The American Outfitters at the Lake Forrest Mall, Gaithersburg, MD, is going out of business. It appears some but not all others are also GOOB.

Most things are 50% off. They have lots of sneekers, casual shoes and hiking shoes. They also have some teenybopper pants and shirts. The sneeker and shoe selection is great!!! Tons of popular sizes. Not just odd sizes. I keep going back every few days because they keep bringing out more stock. They have both men's and women's sizes. Not much for small kids. At this point I have all of the sneekers and hiking shoes, and casual shoes I will need for the next ten years. Here are some examples I remember:

Vanns: $20 reg. $40
Farrel hiking shoes: $37.50 reg. $75
rockport: $45 reg. $90

Eastsomething leather boots: $37.50 reg. $75
New Balance sneekers: $17.50 reg. $35 - sold out?
K Swiss tennis shoes: $17.50 reg. $35 - sold out?
Birkenstock(sp?) $30 reg. $60
Betula: ?
Gazells: ?
Many others.

There are 2 stores in the Harrisburg, Pa area. 1 is going out of business by the end of January and the other is not. I just got a Columbia Jacket for $48. It as regulary $200. I was there on Sunday and most of the stuff they had was Size 15 shoes, extra small shirts and the like. I guess some people could get good deals now!

Also, the one here has to be out by the end of January because that is when the lease it up. This might also be the case with the other stores. Just to let you know!
