I agree hes good, one of the top on the show, I think the thing that might of not have them use it would be its still kinda early.

I'm pretty surprised it was 3 guys in the bottom. And I wonder if Scott really had more votes than Matt or they just let him be safe to up the tension.

For all of you that keep saying "it's a singing competition, who cares what they look like"...that's uh, pretty naive of you. Sure, they need to be able to sing, but no one's going to say that David Cook or Daughtry was the best singer of his year (Carrie and Kelly, the other two majorly successful ones, arguably were). They need to have the whole package - looks, personality, good song choices, and of course, marketability.

Do we know what genre/theme it is next week yet?

No because I cannot stand Megan, and there are some people who are obviously only watching her face and nothing else when she "sings." She'll get hers eventually. Her "quirkyness" is annoying. Matt definitely ranks higher than Megan in talent.

yeah, probably the first they would have considered. still real early though. They needed to have added another rule: save someone improperly voted off, and can the dipshit that was nowhere near the bottom 3 that week.

No, she destroyed herself by singing the same damn song 4 TIMES. I don't think they cared about the drama--hell, they LOVE the drama. She would have been great entertainment. Too bad she wanted to show that she only knew ONE SONG every time they gave her a chance
