Every song he does he blows it out of the water, with the Queen duet, Kris' voice pailed in comparison to Adam's, actually all I heard was Adam.

Btw Kris had 2 good songs and a truck load of shitty ones. Like someone said here earlier all of Danny's voters went to Kris. People are blind. My moms friend who was Kris' biggest fan and has absolutely zero taste in music, admitted later on after the final that Kris isn't the best singer but she just "likes him so much either way".

So yea, to all these Kris fans and Adam haters, you honestly have no clue 😛

LOL. Yeah I actually think Matt might edge out Kris a little in singing talent. TBH, I don't like Adam's music as much as I like Kris', but if you have any clue about singing ability or talent or whatever this show is SUPPOSED to be about, Adam should be miles ahead, but oh well...

Ok I just rewatched the finale because I missed the first hour and I nearly barfed when Fergie sang. She' so bad live just like when she sang that Fergalicious live once. Megan's hot stuff but she's pretty bad too. It was funny that Fergie was actually worse when she came out for that segment.

I agree. I heard the Kris Allen version once, and that was plenty for me; I never want to hear it again, let alone buy it. That really stinks, because usually the first single is evidence of the American Idol dream coming true and that person becoming a true recording artist.

I don't think this one craptastic single is any evidence that America loves Kris Allen more. 115,000 of those purchases were probably made from Arkansas anyways 😛

I agree.

I know Adam is obviously the superior talent, but I'm not butthurt over his losing. Honestly, Kris is one of the few that could have won a contest like AI. I'd prefer Danny or Matt to have won over him (being that they fit the AI mold, and are better than Kris).

It's not that America is too dumb or scared; it's that the AI demographic is scared, inexperienced for a guy like Adam. Nothing to cry over, I'm sure your fantasy boy will live forever on in your dreams.

That's the way I felt. She would open her mouth, and words would come out, but she really wouldn't be saying anything.
 
American Idol Season 8 finalist Danny Gokey is going a little bit country.

The singer, who finished third in the reality competition, has signed a record deal with 19 Records/RCA Nashville, according to USA Today.

Avril Lavigne Will Guest-Judge American Idol

Gokey's deal marks the first time in Idol history that the entire final four contestants on the reality series have been cut record deals.

In June, contracts were announced for winner Kris Allen, runner-up Adam Lambert and fourth-place finisher Allison Iraheta.
