As much as it pains me to say it, I thought Carly was the best, with Chikezie right on her tail.

Archuleta, Ramiele, and Kristy all sucked, but I think Kristy will get the boot.

she still is not that good. I just watched it again and she goes off too often. Too little control to be a pro. She isn't the worst, but to say she is among the best is silly. And one can put all the emotion they want into a performance, if you are sour, you are sour. And if you are sour, you aint a pro.

No one can even hold a candle to Timothy Mitchumwhen it comes to a rendition of "Let it Be"...and this girl missed so many notes and sounded terrible I think. I don't know why Simon thought it was a great performance. I think I could have done something equal to her. Her voice sounded cracked out and shit. WTF

Wish I could find the Grammy performance of Timothy...fucking amazing.

I've been surprised with the amount of compliments they've been handing out for a number of sub-par performances. I can't believe they keep calling this "the best season ever"

Initially I couldn't stand him. Thought he was limited. But he continues to impress every week with his inventiveness and arrangements. His growth has been amazing and he's turning me into a fan. OK, maybe not really a fan, but he has my respect. Even if he doesn't become a good popular singer he might be the next Quincy Jones.

Though I still think he needs a serious make-over. Give that boy a new haircut.

Didn't anyone else think that the first part of David Cook's performance of Elenor Rigby was a little "off"? I didn't seem like he was on time with the music at all to me. :shrug; i thought once he got to the chorus and finished it was awesome...but the first verse just didn't sound right to me.

Man, he is just like Brooke White- he misses a ton of notes, cracks and is sour. i dont get what the judges go so crazy about. The best 2 are so obvious- little david and Carly. These 2 are spot-on with their vocals and rarely go sour like the reast of the contestants.

David A was far from being spot on this week. His last 2 performances were horrible if you ask me. Since next week will also be Beatles night, I'm predicting a third sucky showing.

Yeah, his last performance wasn't great, but he does not crack or go sour. He is a much better vocalist than all the other contestants other than Carly.
