As much as it pains me to say it, I thought Carly was the best, with Chikezie right on her tail.

Archuleta, Ramiele, and Kristy all sucked, but I think Kristy will get the boot.

She is full of it. She was crying b/c she thought she blew it. she missed alot of notes was very sour in places, and she knew it. I think she was very surprised that the judges liked her so much. So, when asked about the tears, she changed her story. if there is a replay of the perrformance, watch her at the end when the song is ending- her face reads failure. She got lucky the judges are so dumb and can't tell a one-trick pony when they see one. The girl's voice iss weak and cannot sing and has to stick to soft acoustic guitar style songs in order to make it.
I don't agree. I think she was putting genuine emotion into her performance..

she still is not that good. I just watched it again and she goes off too often. Too little control to be a pro. She isn't the worst, but to say she is among the best is silly. And one can put all the emotion they want into a performance, if you are sour, you are sour. And if you are sour, you aint a pro.

definitely not the worst, but far from the best. Anyone else get the impression that Seacrest has a foot/shoe fetish?
i get the impression that Simon likes to try and get a dig in that Seacrust is gay whenever he can.

Meh, I'm pretty harsh on these people, and I think she did a good job.

No one can even hold a candle to Timothy Mitchumwhen it comes to a rendition of "Let it Be"...and this girl missed so many notes and sounded terrible I think. I don't know why Simon thought it was a great performance. I think I could have done something equal to her. Her voice sounded cracked out and shit. WTF

Wish I could find the Grammy performance of Timothy...fucking amazing.

I've been surprised with the amount of compliments they've been handing out for a number of sub-par performances. I can't believe they keep calling this "the best season ever"
Hopefully it's just for a pay check and they don't believe it.

Chikezie was the best.

David Cook did the same Lionel Richie treatment to Eleanor Rigby, not impressed this week (was last week).

I'm surprised Amanda Overmyer didn't do Helter Skelter, so I'll give her credit for not doing the obvious, but she still has zero chance.

Archuleta flopped. He'll recover.

Brooke White, Let it Be is too big for her.

Carly Smithson stunk.

Castro was okay.

Ramiele is going home.

The rest I don't even remember.

What in the fuck? Sorry, but your opinion is shit.

Carly was great. And I am not even a "fan" of her...but she rocked last night.

would people tune in if they said it was the shittiest amount of talent that they have had in years?

David Cook fucking kick-rocked elenor rigby.
Initially I couldn't stand him. Thought he was limited. But he continues to impress every week with his inventiveness and arrangements. His growth has been amazing and he's turning me into a fan. OK, maybe not really a fan, but he has my respect. Even if he doesn't become a good popular singer he might be the next Quincy Jones.

Though I still think he needs a serious make-over. Give that boy a new haircut.

Probably.

Didn't anyone else think that the first part of David Cook's performance of Elenor Rigby was a little "off"? I didn't seem like he was on time with the music at all to me. :shrug; i thought once he got to the chorus and finished it was awesome...but the first verse just didn't sound right to me.

Dammit man, why is it that we are the only people who noticed her horrible singing?? I mean it wasnt horrible, but it was far from being great.

Man, he is just like Brooke White- he misses a ton of notes, cracks and is sour. i dont get what the judges go so crazy about. The best 2 are so obvious- little david and Carly. These 2 are spot-on with their vocals and rarely go sour like the reast of the contestants.

David A was far from being spot on this week. His last 2 performances were horrible if you ask me. Since next week will also be Beatles night, I'm predicting a third sucky showing.

In other news, apparently someone is trying to make a buck from nude pics of Amanda.

Yeah, his last performance wasn't great, but he does not crack or go sour. He is a much better vocalist than all the other contestants other than Carly.
