American Horror Story Season 2 Starts Tonight

Season 2 starts tonight at 10 on FX. This season the story will take place in a mental asylum, 1964.

Last season was awesome, hopefully this will be too.
 
Season 1 was great and the whole one story per season thing means they don't have to jump through idiotic hoops to keep the show going. On the flip side it means they can totally blow it with a new story.
 
Forgot it was on FX, had a flashback to Dish dropping AMC and got very worried for a sec. I really liked S1, S2 was a bit harder to get behind, so I guess I will give S3 a watch.
 
Season 1 started out great and fell off towards the end.

I tried watching this last night but I was so tired I fell asleep half way though but from the first half Im already turned off by the story.

Aliens? Really? Wtf

So at the beginning with the interracial couple, what exactly happened to his girlfriend? I was so confused because they were talking before about how society doesn't like them together and I thought the house was being attacked when he saw the lights outside the window in the bedroom and then all the weird stuff started happening.

So confused about what really happened.

Glad to see Jessica Lange back.

Just pretend like Season 1 didn't happened. It's supposed to be a new story. Similar to movies that feature a series of horror films.
 
I liked it. It's like mini-series versions of Tales from they Crypt (those featured many of the same actors/actresses over the episodes).

As for the black girl --- they eluded to alien abduction and that she was killed and that ppl think the boyfriend did it. I'm sure that's not what actually happened, but if it's anything like the first season, confusion is what they want, until later in the episodes.
 
season 1 was awesome until the last episode. i wish i hadn't seen the last episode and just stopped at the one previous to it. i thought it ended horribly.

ill watch s2 though will have to catch a repeat.
 
Caught tonight's epi ... I do like this series. Looks like pretty much everyone in the asylum is nuts, including the doctor in charge.

A new series coming to FX in January 2013 called "The Americans".

It's a period drama about the marriage of KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington, DC set during the Reagan presidency.
 
im 2 episodes in and liking it a lot. i may go on an american horror story bender tomorrow and watch the rest of them to get caught up.
 
Man two people killed off in one episode in last nights showing(at least I assume they are dead). What the hell was with the Glee dancing segment?
