American History X question (*possible* spoilers)

I just watched it for the first time tonight - awesome movie. I had a question though - when Derek and his brother were at the coffee shop and the cop & principal stopped by, what'd they ask Derek to go do? I know they said the character Stacy Keach plays and that fat guy got beat, but what'd they ask Derek to go do? And why'd they cut out that beating scene? The whole "they just got beat" part made no sense without the Ben's Burgers scene imho. Awesome movie though. And damn, Ed Norton packed on some muscle.

Excellent movie, but I havent seen it in a while so I can't remember what it was they asked him to do.

Yeah, he wanted him to go speak to his skinhead buddies...did you even pay attention?😉 That's pretty self explanatory as he goes to speak to them afterwards🙂

The deleted scenes would have worked pretty well with the movie. Sometimes I wonder why they took them out...

I thought he said go speak to his skinhead buddies but I wasn't sure....imho it was sorta stupid b/c they wouldn't listen to a guy who just walked out on them earlier
