Has anyone here read American Gods by Neil Gaiman? I personally found it OK, but Neverwhere was much better and Good Omens was even better. The book seemed too much like a darker version of Small Gods by Terry Pratchett.

I'm going to start Pollen by Jeff Noon today. Anyone read it? Someone was telling me that its not as good as Vurt.
 
yup, he's the one that did the sandman comics. he has written 4-5 books. if you like his work, try out neverwhere or good omens. both are worth reading.
