American Express reduced my credit line by 95%

Called them and cancelled the card. I have never missed a payment, and have been a customer since 2004. I can understand them cutting it in half, or maybe even 70% to 3000 bucks. 500 is an insult and I'll never ever do business with American Express ever again. May they rot in hell.

I got a notification from chase today that they canceled one of my cards. I haven't used it in about 9 years.

That sucks.

But American Express doesn't give a shit.

I would say they lose a lot of money if I don't give them business again ever. I hope all of their high risk customers default on their CC debt and they die.

I had just bought a mcdonalds breakfast with that card today because I don't want them to cancel it since I haven't used it in a few months. Guess I should've just kept it in the drawer.

Credit card companies are going to get bailed out next. Just watch.

does that mean we'll all wake up one morning and our balances will be $0?

Yes. By the way, I have some oceanfront land in Kansas, would you be interested?

that's gonna hurt your score for a bit. And Amex has been doing this alot lately.

I don't need a loan anytime soon so that's good...

Citi took my interest rate from under 10% to over 22%. Needless to say, that one is now closed. I've had that account for nearly 15 years.

I never carry a balance so I wouldn't care if they raise the APR or not...
