Man, all I got at the amex site today was "Contacting Server..." Last year, and earlier this year was much easier to get at some of the merchandise. I'm still enjoying my kitchenaid espresso machine and blender.

Good thing I went to Costco in the morning today. They had 4 pallets of xbox360 bundles near the checkout. I was a happy camper after that.

uh...you mean the Appalachians?
No, I appended my statement to include the Rockies because heck--there were but a handful of winners from the left coast (CA, WA, NM--these states being more or less west of the Rockies). There were a few midwest-state winners too but my point was that the majority of the winners didn't appear to be from the left coast.

One would think that the state with the largest population in the U.S. (CA) would have more winners--or at least better odds of producing more winners...but the "random sampling" of winners on the list apparently shows otherwise.

If you are getting the High Demand message at all times of the day you are probably banned.

Check out the thread on FW for more info.

No luck on the 360. Did anyone get one? I hit the button right when the clock turned and just hung...contacting server. At the next hour (3pm) I tried waiting 1-2 seconds same thing. Finally at 7pm I tried clicking about 2 seconds before and this time it said "All avail. are in shopping carts." Oh well.

Did anyone get one? I want to know how they did it because you'd think if anyone could score an xbox360 at this price it would be someone on one of these hotdlz forums!

Does that include WishCerts too? If so...I got one of those High Demand messages when trying to get one of the WishCerts; but if that message is supposed to mean that you're banned, then why would I also get subsequent "Missed It" messages when I just happen to get "lucky" enough to get in?

"Banned" for/from what? For the day? For that particular time? From the IP address you were on when you got the message?

Does anyone know if the amount of items is for each time they do it during the day? Or is it for all three times combined?

Can anyone tell me what was the featured items on the 16th of Dec ? Just wanted to know.

No big deals. One was a diamond engagement ring and I was not impressed enough to even recall the other two. I was misled, thinking everyone would be able to buy the items, but it was run like all the others. I began trying to buy a few seconds before they went on sale and they sold out in under 2 seconds

The other two were a Sony camcorder and a luxury Hawaiian vacation.
