I know how it works..You watch the simpsons..Oh thats always fun.. Then your all excited for family guy..So you watch that. Since you just watched 2 awesome shows you think they....here comes another cartoon that looks just like the other two, it must be good..ill stick aroudn and watch it. THEN you are horribly slapped in the face with a huge stick of suckness.
 
it's not terrible. but nowhere close to family guy. i think i almost peed my pants today watching family guy this week. (and last week too) best show evar.

On a side note, I was suprised tonight to see a plug for American Dad on Adult Swim. They are starting to show AD episodes starting May 12th (this Thursday).

I've never seen it, but I thought AD only has 3-4 episodes total. Kinda quick to be showing reruns on Adult Swim, dontcha think?
 
Yup, im really surprised that it even made it past that first trailer show (or whatever they call it) ~ it is AWFUL!

And I LOVE family guy, so damned funny!!!!

It's funny, I was going to make one of these threads 20 minutes ago when it came on, but I was too busy editing out the commercials of Family Guy so I can up it for you guys.

What's sad is that they didn't even bother coming up with new voice-talent, they just used themselves, so if you're not watching and just listening to the audio you'd think it was Family Guy with no jokes.

I bet they had been planning American Dad for a while since Family Guy got canned and as fate would have it they got Family Guy back on the air after plans for American Dad to air were already made.
 
American Dad sucks. Fox should dump it and bring back Futurama. New episodes of Family Guy and Futurama would make a killer 9-10 block.

Never really got into Futurama. I say they just put Simpsons at 8 and Family Guy at 8:30, then come up with something better for the 9-10 slot than Family Guy/American Dad. Honestly, Family Guy is the only show I watch on Fox besides The OC.
 
american dad is just going to be like family guy. gonna get cancelled a couple of times. people will buy the dvd /watch cable reruns . then it will come back and everyone will like it.
