This thread needs to go have a timeout in P&N.

That being said, the prisoners getting mistreated (not tortured) is in NO WAY comparable to the live beheading of a RANDOM person.
So what if were 3 or 4 crazy people in that US prison in Iraq. oops. oh well.
You'll never see a US president beheading random people on video to drive a point home. Thats disgusting.

So...they killed an American. What else is new? This is just being made in to a big deal because of the recent photos uncovered. I'm sure much worse than this has been done in the time period we've been over there.

Rush put out one of his quick 30 second ads on that very topic. He pointed out that releasing those photos might have actually given us an advantage, because as soon as they were made public the insurgence dropped sharply - probably because they were all afraid to be captured and put in that prison. 😛
 
Now I wish I hadn't posted a link to the thread in P&N as it is going downhill somewhat. It's sad when people can't have an intelligent discussion over such a serious matter.

Well, it looks like the media is starting to run with this allegation:

His captors said the United States refused to exchange him for prisoners in the Abu Ghraib prison.

I guess it's the military's fault for not giving in to their demands. :roll:

Of course the military shouldn't negotiate with terrorists, but hopefully they tried to get these guys when they were made the offer and didn't totally dismiss it...
