However I think their leaders, who were smart enough to stay alive this long, would be smart enough to understand the media and how things will be viewed by the public even if it is worlds apart.

sad day for sure.

Prove that Al Quaeda had a link to Iraq before the toppling of Saddam Hussein.

Now they can justify any future killings of American soldiers by referencing the prison incident.
These barely literate, uneducated fvcking clowns would justify killing Americans regardless of the prison scandal. The scandal is just an excuse.

he also seems to forget the crowds that had fun desicrating the dead bodies of our contractors in the streets way before any prison photos came out.

And people hanging from bridges. These people were not holding back before and now, because of this, have decided to go all out. They always were going all out, but now they just have another excuse on why.

Before you invade a country, you'd better be DAMN sure that the American lives that will be expended on your watch are not for nil.

I'd rather have a sure link and invade Iraq with confidence rather than our current situation, in which nearly 1000 American soldiers have died for, at best, an intelligence blunder. And we still haven't seen ANY proof that a) Iraq had a link to al Qaeda, and b) that Iraq had ANY weapons of mass destruction.

I'd rather rely on American intelligence too, but we haven't seen very much of that exact thing lately, have we?

Your problem is that you believe there was no Al Q link in Iraq. Thats a positive. You cant prove otherwise.

...

No, proving a lack of a link is a negative.

Just remember...this is the payment we get for 'liberation.' How anyone can STILL support this war is just beyond me....I mean, if you made the mistake of buying into Shrub's BS a year ago, or 15 months ago, ok....honest mistake...now it's just ignorance. Everyone else in the industrialized world sure thinks so.

American ignorance makes me embarassed to me an American.

Just because you say their is no link doesnt mean there isnt a link. AI said there was - I believe them - not you.

How is that a problem? We haven't been shown any evidence to indicate otherwise. Why don't you start subscribing to the American ideal of innocent until proven guilty? Iraq's links to al-Qaeda are non-existent until they're proven. You're assuming there are links with absolutely no evidence to prove such a claim.

Show me cold, hard facts, and I'll tell you that the deaths of nearly 1000 U.S. soldiers were worth it. Until then, I'll sit here waiting for the evidence.

Yea, now....after our 'liberation' created a power vacuum that allowed free flow of terrorists across borders that saddam would have machine-gunned when he was in power?

Good for you; that has little to no bearing as to why we're in Iraq in the first place. If we had not invaded Iraq Al Queda would not be there.

If they didnt have masks on, by now every USMC sniper in Iraq would have memorized their faces and been ready to shoot them on sight. I would hope the first bullet is low, and the follow up shot takes a while... darn "equipment malfunction" ;)
