Oooh, a link to a dictionary. We're in 10x territory here, people.

Fine. You troll, I troll.. We all troll!

How's that weight loss coming along? If you're going to attack my intellect, I'll be damn sure to take the opportunity to attack your obesity. At least you're finally doing something about it.

Can you not ignore someone with this godforsaken forum software? *sigh*

So, since I can't ignore it... The next time you troll me can at least be on topic? You already gave your input, so stay the hell out of this thread. Thank you, and good night. You won't be getting another response from me, which I know you so desperately want, but don't even try.

The west.

If they ask where in the west I would respond "Canada".

I am ashamed of our politcal system / foreign policies to the point I wouldn't want them to know where I really lived. As an individual we are often judged by how our government acts since they are the face the world sees.

Seriously? You should be ashamed that you'd lie about the country you're from.

I've traveled to different countries at least 3 times since 2000 and never had someone treat me in a negative manner after learning I was from the US. Don't insult them by assuming that they can't distinguish between a citizen of the country and its government.

We don't verbalize it or treat you guys differently, but it's present in our minds at all times.

When I was on tour in Europe it was primarily Canadian, Australians, NZ, South Africans...and a few Americans. Everyone treated the Americans fine, but they did not hear our conversations about them behind closed doors.

seriously though, most of that hate comes cause we sik wit it. why everybody gotta try pull down the ones at the top?

Because we elected an idiot as president who took us from being well respected in the world community to a bunch of thugs who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves in only 7 years?

BTW-Don't count on us being the ones at the top forever...in fact, there are many countries that beat us at a number of things. We aren't all that...not even close.

the US is a land of opportunity. but there are some flaws, just like any place.

Don't kid yourself, there are MANY flaws.

yeah, but we're still way better off than any other place on this earth. also, our politics is one small part of out national identity. also fyi, we weren't well respected before bush.

When I was in Japan I responded "American" because they actually have that word in Japanese.

San Diego--ironically, San Diego is seen as a crucible of cultures, even though its the most conservative stronghold on the West Coast--and all the Euros like that.

Are you kidding? Most Europeans liked the US before Bush. Now most Europeans hate us.
