Thanks for the much needed propaganda bullsh!t tho, we've been really short of it from the NRA lately and was afraid they switched to 'reality mode' or something.

With that being said, shame on the dad for leaving his 11 year old daughter at home alone.

with a loaded shotgun just sitting around no less... father of the year!

Well, if she is a seasoned trap/skeet shooter, she probably knows how to handle a gun and respects them enough that leaving her with one in the house is not a concern.

*If* this story is true, then awesome. Big 'if' there though.

Thanks for the warning. I really needed a neo nazi site in my browser cache. :disgust:

First of all, I can't be responsible for the demographic that's attracted to this kind of propaganda bullsh!t, and secondly if everyone utilized effective browser mechanisms to block web ads, it wouldn't have been quite so obvious that the site might tilt towards neo-naziism. ;)

The same one that are law enforcement, judges and entire legal system are set upon. If you want to start picking and choosing what you want to out of the constitution based on your "personal view of things" then you obviously don't want to be in the US.

actually, there's a number of possible points of view on how to interpret "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." there's even more reason to debate if you take the statement in its historical context.

...and stop already with the "get out of the US" bullsh*t. NRA members aren't the only citizens who appreciate their country.

God damn her dad must be proud of her. If there is one thing I am sure of, it's that I am teaching my future children and wife how to handle weapons in order to defend themselves.

EDIT: After doing some reading on teh intarweb, it appears this story is pure shens. The ONLY place you can find it, is on a few websites, (MOST of them pro-gun sites), and NO news stories, no police blotter stories, nothing. You'd think that IF this had really happened, FAUX would be all over it...young white girl defends her home, and kills 2 heavily armed ILLEGAL brown men...

Where does it say she was white? Are you just assuming anyone who shoots sporting clays in Montana (or anyone at all in Montana) is white?

Probably because her name is Patricia Harrington and the fact that Montana's white population is 91.1% of the total population.

wtf? even if it wasn't loaded, you don't think a "champion clay shooter" wouldn't know how to load a gun?
