my friend works at Best Buy.
a few days ago a lady brought in an iPod to get it repaired, she told her that they can't fix it because it's out of the warranty. so she went to the store manager - the manager gave her the same answer.
so the customer went to a different Best Buy and talked to the manager there and finally pursuaded them to repair it. now the customer is suing my friend for "lying" to her about not being able to get it fixed.
:Q
although i've seen and heard of people trying to make some easy money at the expense of others on the media, this is the first time it's happened to someone I know. it's completely unjustified, and it's obvious this lady's not gonna win (but who knows). it's not like my friend lied to her on purpose :Q
