LOL! Looks like Rollo is up to his usual pastime of AMD bashing. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he's still being paid by Nvidia. Nobody goes to this much trouble without some sort of incentive.

Heck, he even paid for subscriber status at ArsTechnica just so he could post it in the Lounge section! Not that it did him much good as he was openly ridiculed until he finally quit trying.

Isn't this the WORST form of advertising, because the consumer does not know they are being marketed to?

Should AMD be forced by law to pay advertising fees to the forums they've apparently polluted? Should they be forced by law to disclose they are compensated advertisers?

Im not sure when he left, at the top of the thread, he said he left ages ago, then later he said he handed in his resignation a couple of weeks ago...

However, i dont know why its a bitch fest at Rollo, after he was outed, he did as was required of him and put his affiliation in his sig!...

He is only calling for the same from AMD shrills.

I think this Rollo guy just resign to troll AMD or maybe he was payed to "temporary" resign just to spamming all tech forum in internet.

Is it really though? I don't get the interest in Rollo anymore. When he was on the board and shortly after getting banned, sure. But to this day people still care about what he's doing?

Unless we've got some concrete info to point out AMD's stealth viral marketing, I don't really see the purpose to this thread anymore.

All I see is irony coming from someone with no credibility. I can easily assume he dropped from nVidia's marketing department and works for another department to continue the covert shilling! Unless, he was removed by force and is just trying to win the heart back of a scorn lover. Or he works for AMD now and is continuing his MO and shilling but hoping for the opposite reaction. Who knows.

What I do know is, if AT has their own Shill Factory, I want to Shill for AT!

What's funny is that he claims ethical reasons, but strangely enough that didn't bother him when NVIDIA's focus group was not outed yet and he was happy to keep it a secret going so far as trying to get people banned when they accused him of being a viral marketer. Hypocrite much.

In the threads Rollo referred to himself as an NV "insider" because he was a Focus Group member. How accurate can that be? Would he know if NV hired a marketing company to perform stealth advertising? How "inside" did he think he was? I've worked at company's and some of them did a real good job of hiding things from their employees, even those that worked in the corporate headquarters. For Rollo to claim NV is not doing it because he's an "insider" and would know about it is meaningless.
