This is also an assumption, and IMHO one that has far less probability. Failing evidence to the contrary, why would you assume that AMD's roadmap is incorrect?

You need to come to the table with some proof when using assumptions.....

Mid doesn't mean the precise mid point. I can assume it could be +/- 1 month. So if production say started june 1st then July 31st laucnh would make since. Many times I have gotten chips with a fab date about 2 months from the time I get it. I haven't seen many less then this. So basically I dont see anything you are saying that refutes the roadmap....

Logic and math should tell you that the roadmap MUST be wrong.
It takes 90 days from the start of production to go from wafer in to wafer out...the Fab date is the packaging date.
Another 2 weeks (at least) for packaging and testing...
That puts us in mid-September for the very first wafers (the first few thousand chips).
I think that you'd agree this is no longer mid-2007...

The most logical assumption is that when DT translated their info, they said "production" instead of "shipping"...
This would let all of the roadmaps make sense and is an easy mistake to make when translating from chinese.

One other point...in order for AMD to already know what bins they are planning, they must already have begun outputting at least several test wafers. Therefore, it's most logical to assume that they are already in production wafer mode...
