I merely pointed out there turn towards foreign ownership, any other slant beyond that is all yours.

Given that your economy is in the shitter at the moment I feel confident this will pass.

Nvidia very much competes with (or is trying to) Intel.

No, not really. Intel's main business is CPUs and NVIDIA's is discrete GPUs. Currently neither have a competing product in these categories.

America is being sold off bit by bit. Did you know that about 11% of the buildings in NYC are owned by Japan based corporations? This includes existing buildings as well as planned construction of new ones. Wild eh?

What the hell is this to do with video cards?

Or did your NV PR alarm go off and you couldnt think of anything else to write.

Maybe if you'd of thought about it a bit, and read other posts in this thread, you might have possibly understood the context of my post.

And secondly, what is your problem? Did you get up on the side of the bed that had the broken beer bottle on the floor this morning?

See, going on context I used more than just this thread, I used your posting history.

Which kind off makes you look a lot like a troll when it comes to subjects involving AMD/ATI.

Which really is pretty sad for a mod.

Oh darn. Looks like you chose to attack without cause here. Out of left field. Very weird.
Any mods around?

Not really, you brought up context.

If you think you have no history I can dig up a few posts.

I would have hoped the mods would have stopped the weird partisanship which has been killing the vid card forum for years.

AHH so you have no other opinion on it?

Well? I'm not getting much from that comment.

No, not really. Intel's main business is CPUs and NVIDIA's is discrete GPUs. Currently neither have a competing product in these categories.

As NV knows the distinction between CPU's and GPU's is getting blurred and is going to get a lot blurrier. NV is either going to be in competition with Intel or they are going to have to find a completely different market.

Possibly. But I did not state one, such as you implied.

Then it served its purpose.

Which has nothing to do with their current situation as we are discussing it.

Ok. So you have no problems with AMD getting some new investors.

Then it served its purpose.

And you obviously agree with me there as well or you would have said.

Which has nothing to do with their current situation as we are discussing it.

Unless you think companies have no forward planning at all it has every thing to do with the current situation.

In what way is AMD a 'Middle eastern company' now.

$6B with controlling interest will make it so.

In what way?

If any thing they will be employing more Americans after this deal with the NY fab.
