AMD64 Rev E and mobo's

I've seen topics that say the new Rev E of the AMD64 is going to be out this Spring/Summer. Any idea of what that means for the current slate of nForce4 Ultra/SLI mobo's out there?

Just wondering if I buy the DFI Ultra-D nForce that it is going to be replaced by something better in the next month or two. I'd actually like to see the 4 slot mhz reduce problem get resolved by this so I could have 2GB's of RAM. I'm in no hurry so waiting until May isn't that bad (though finger that presses the BUY button is getting itchy).

Thoughts, feelings, emotions?

Venice will most probably run in all the 939 motherboards with no more than a BIOS patch, if even that. It's still a 939 pin chip.

The problem will be next year when AMD is rumored to add DDR2 to the dual-core Athlons. This will necessitate a new processor socket because the Athlons currently have an on-board memory controller.
