Ok i have a wierd problem. I just reset my bios because i was trying to oc my ram. when i went to set my cpu back to 235 mhz, it wont let me. It wont let me increase it 1 mhz past 200 even. Anyone know wtf is going on with my system?

yeah, you need to make sure you set the locks. this happened to me. i corrupted my bios, and then i flashed it. it didnt work, i flashed again and it started working.

well, look around bios for options for locking pci/agp at 33mhz and 66mhz... Then look for a lock for sata...I cant tell you where it will be cause it differs from board to board.

i have the same board... SATA 1 and 2 are both unlocked... so if you want to get pass 240Mhz.... use SATA 3 and 4 instead

PCI is locked...

set AGP speed to 67Mhz to lock it...

that's all..... im having problems with myself now.... good luck !

well we have a new problem. The cpu wont go past 250. Soon as it hits 250 it locks up. I can do 249 no problems at all. But 250, just wont do it . any reason why? and is sata 3,4, refering to the serial ata ports on the board?

What memory divider?

If you reset the CMOS, you reset the divider to 200..

what about LDT multiplier? @ 3x I assume? Or hope..

😀

hey, when you guys are reffering to sata lock, do you mean the serial ata ports on my mobo? or is there something else called sata? Because i changed my raptor over to 3. LMK

yeah, he meant the ports on your mobo. 3 and 4 can tolerate high FSB better.

yup, but the 3 and 4 wont lock unless you set the lock in the bios, it will either say sata lock (less likely) or pci frequency or pci lock. . if you use 1 and 2 with the locks it doesnt work, only 3&4

You still haven't checked that.

im using BIOS 1.8 and it doesn't seem to have that option... but im running 290FSB.. so i guess the SATA3,4 is locked by BIOS officially........

SATA ports 3&4 are locked through the NF3 chipset, the other 1&2 are another brand (can't remember what make) some silicon chip, and it is not locked

well i do not have to worry about mem dividers because my corsair is pc4400 rated to about 275 mhz. also i lowerd the divider to take the memory out of the question and it still locks at anymore then 249fsb.
