If the 3000+ venice drops to 130 dollars, it will be a no brainer for all new systems. GO AMD!! WOOT.
(P.S. I'm not an AMD fanboy, I own a p4 also.)

Is this "rumored" price drop going to happen globally? Cause i'm from Aussie land and tommorow is today! (i.e- when it is monday here, its Sunday in the US).

Yes, i have travelled forward in time!

I believe the lowest San Diego was the 3500+, but it's hard to find. Real hard. Prices changes on newegg.com have already taken place. Not over here, though. The 3700+ SD is now $325.00, first it was $339. That's a $14 drop in price, or 4.2% (rounded). (All of this calculated with my nekkid head 😀)

Why would they cut prices on the 4th of July? Seems to me that they would do it when there was a retailer around to sell cpu's at the new price.

Looks Like Monarchcomputer.com has loaded the new price drops on pricewatch, most CPU'S dropped 30-50 bucks

X2 4400 still 719.00 at New Egg and 661.00 on Monarchcomputer.com

Pricewatch shows $188 for a 3.2 939, thats two bucks less than what I saw it for yesterday. Hard to get real worked up about $2.

Which cpu is 35 dollars cheaper? The 3500+ still costs 209 dollars.
