I just got xp barton 2500 mobile cpu
I using NF7 and under bios, cpu is listed as unkwon and does not know what default setting is
is it 14 x 133?
what's stock voltage?
I thought it was 1.45 but if I choose default in BIOS it says 1.575v

i think it's 13.5*133 = 1800 mhz. Stock is 1.45 but the motherboard defaults to 1.575v since it doesn't expect a mobile chip.

It should run at 1833mhz on the 133fsb, whatever that works out to.

Stock voltage is 1.45.

This is all irrelevant tho. That chip was not meant to be run at stock speeds. YOU MUST OVERCLOCK IT OR IT WILL BE TEH SUXORZ.

Say it with me "We must...we must...we must increase the bus."

There you go.

P.S. Don't mind me I'm kinda sleepy and neurotic tonight.

I'd install windows and do a 24-hour burn in with Prime. That way you KNOW if there's anything wrong with the chip, and you can RMA it before you void your warranty with overclocking.

Just run it at 11x166, stock speed for a Barton 2500. Using more voltage affects nothing, besides a VERY LITTLE extra heat, and added stability.;)

Exactly. Run it like a stock desktop barton. It should do this with 1.45v. All of my chips did, and that's how I started them all out before OCing.
