AMD gave me a free Athlon XP 2000+ (AGOGA stepping) and a Gigabyte motherboard, so I gave the GB mobo to my nephew, and bought myself an Epox 8kha+ on which to run that chip. It works well (after I modified my Enermax power supply to supply it with enough voltage - I don't recommend this due to the danger of high voltage shock from the capacitors). I have VERY modestly overclocked it to 1762MHz rock solid stable at default core voltage. It also works with my two 512MB sticks of Corsair ECC ram, even though the board isn't supposed to support ECC ram. The chip will do more than 1800MHz, but not at default voltage. This chip would cost too much to replace if I fried it, and 1762 is fast enough. Nice board, and nice CPU. The board has a few issues. You can read about those in the Epox forum at AMDMB.COM, but it is a nice board, with a lot of features.
