Just curious what kind of temperatures your 4200 is running at- mine currently is at 49 degrees celcius (which seems kinda hot to me...) I've only checked it a few times before, but I can't remember what temp it was. Thanks

IMHO 49C idle is on the hot side. However temp readings will vary by mainboard, and the ambient temp in your room. Right now the temp in my office is 21.1C and my x2 3800+ @ 2.7GHz 1.52v is 31C as I type this reply. I use an XP-90 w/ Vantec Stealth 92mm fan + AS5. I'd recommend that you remove your current HSF, clean off the old grease with Goof Off or some brake cleaner, then apply a thin layer of thermal grease. If nothing changed you may want to invest in a better HSF, thermal compound, and possibly increase the air flow in your case.
How to properly apply thermal grease on certain cpus
