AMD X2 4000+

I couldn't find it in the AMD site (or google), and the page says "Manchester" instead of "Toledo", so I guess there is an error somewhere. It is not available, btw.

Alternate is something like Newegg for europeans, but the X2 4000 doesn't appear in the german page, where everything appears first.

The price is 399 ?, 20 more than the X2 3800+. If this is true and the price is correct, AMD won't sell a single X2 3800+ any more.

(Agreed, european prices s*ck, but lets not make them the topic of the thread)

Hmm . . . 1MB L2 cache . . . $30 extra seems reasonable. The 4400+ is only $50 more than the 4200+

I don't think there are any official retail X2 4000+ models. Put it this way, you can get a Toledo 3800+ it just has half of its cache disabled.
