Searched and didn't find. AMD dual core Toledo 3800+ socket 939. Best price I see at the moment at Tiger Diect. Tiger Direct haters, no threadcrapping. If you don't like the deal, just move on. Link below. Shipping is 7.49 for me out to CA.

3800 X2 S939 Toledo

edit:
Thanks to Kobb for the warranty info.

If you get the specials emails from New egg they have it for the same price plus free shipping. It's $10 off the normal $89.95. Hope you don't consider this thread crapping.

esquared,

not trying to tc.... but you should add this to the op. IMHO, Tiger's warranty blows.. here it is...

"VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING OUR RETURN POLICY ON CPU'S: Please note that all processors may be returned only for defective exchange. You must purchase a compatible heatsink and fan on the same order as the processor in order to preserve your warranty or exchange privilege. We are not able to accept returns for refunds on processors under any circumstances. All processors will be inspected and tested upon return and any damage caused by poor packaging, overclocking, or other tampering with the processor will be cause for the return to be refused, and exchange denied."

I have a 3000+ oc'd to 2.5. Is jumpin on this deal worth it (yes, an incredibly subjective question)...i don't really game that much anymore, just lookin to keep my puter runnin "snappy" for as long as possible

It was a short 15 minute sale I guess. Oh well.

I don't order from Tigger online, but shop at their outlet stores in Miami sometimes when I need something ASAP. I recently saw Biostar Tforce 939 boards there and bought one. I got it home and found it was dead, flipped it over and the traces on the board were borked, back it went. The moron (I'm being nice) at the front desk was making up new/changing rules as we went and decided he was going to charge me a 15% restocking fee. I laughed at him and said you gotta be joking, you can't resell a defective board, it's dead. I walked over to look at their return policy and he yelled at me to come back. It was a total circus, but in the end he had to get a signature and then gave me store credit. They would NOT give a refund no matter what.

Not thread crapping, just stating the facts.

Are you referring to Neweg or TD. The TD price still shows 79.99 for me.

Also to Kobb:
I didn't notice that requirement. Yeah that does blow, but in the warranty section tab it shows that the CPU is warranteed by AMD for 12 months here

edit:
I just looked further into the TD claim that it's warrantied by AMD for 12 months. It doesn't appear to be true. Read this link AMD warranty info link

It states:

The following processors you CANNOT claim a direct warranty for from AMD:

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Tray part

An OEM tray part is a non-boxed product which is sold as a single unit without any installation instructions or additional end customer material (e.g. heatsink/fan, case sticker, thermal pad) provided by AMD.

Contact your reseller in order to claim warranty for this part.

All OEM tray parts will need to be returned to AMD through the distribution channel as AMD will only accept OEM tray parts returned from the initial direct purchaser.

It also says with this link here, that:

AMD's warranty on processors extends only to customers who purchased products DIRECTLY FROM AMD and does not cover products purchased from resellers. You should direct any warranty inquiries to the supplier from whom you purchased this product.

I guess that does mean to have any waranty at all, you do need to purchase a HSF with the order. Doesn't seem to be as hot a deal after all. Thanks for the info.
