I posted this in Off Topic and it got locked, my bad for posting it in the wrong forum, I apologize mods.

I oc'd it from 2.0 to 2.5 on stock heatstink and fan and all on normal voltage. And I'm also will be trying to hit 2.6 later when I feel the time is right. Any suggestions beforehand I do the run for 2.6?

I looked at your screenshot and you're doing 250HTT x10. Which memory you using? Divider? Rated and current mem timings? Motherboard brand?

I'm using the Asus A8R-MVP with latest BIOS, my mem is a OCZ DDR 400 3CAS, 3-3-3-7, 2T

HTT is at 250/Multi is at 10 and my memory is running using divider and is till running at 200

I guess I'd say don't hesitate to loosen your timings from 3-3-3-7 to 3-4-4-8 or thereabouts - depending on your hardware it can make a huge difference (certainly did for me). You can always fine-tune them once you've found your max HTT.

Also make sure your HTT multiplier is 4x for 250 and 3x for anything much more than that. They say that your HTT should be "around" 1000mhz depending on the hardware, but I think the difference in 4x and 3x is unnoticeable, even in benchmarking.

Lastly I'd suggest going 1T for your command rate. 2T can allow some folks to clock higher, but I'm not sure that it's worth it. I've heard lots of folks (including zebo's OC guide) say that a64 suffers big time with 2T. I haven't seen benchmarking of 250 @1T versus 260 @ 2T to say for sure, but judging from the vast majority of overclockers profiles I'd suggest 1T.

Otherwise good luck!
