AMD/Windows Non-Execute Protection

So I'm browsing pictures on my digital camera's memory card which I've plugged into my usb card reader, and every time windows gives a Data Execution Prevention error and closes explorer. What's up with that?

I tracked it down to the .AVI files made with a Canon S500. Still, why would windows lock up from loading those thumbnails? I turned off NX for explorer to solve it. Weird problem though

It gives problems occasionally, im not sure if it's due to bad programming or NX being poor.
What i know is that there isn't so many problems as previously.

Also that explorer doesn't like corrupted videofiles and some codecs make it crash.
