AMD Vs Pentiums

I have been a very happy AMD user for years now and I know that AMD is just, to put it simply better than Intel?s Pentiums. But here is my question, WHY is AMD so much better than Intel?

I would like to here form both AMD users and Pentium users.

Also don?t feel the need to explain it to me like I?m child, I can hang with the computer talk.
