Just curious to get a sample percentage of owners on AT who own/use a AMD or Nvidia video card in their main gaming rig currently.

Edit Per Grooveriding post below. If you have both just vote which one is in your main gaming rig or the card you use the most for gaming.

Guys if you want post your main gaming card make/sku.

You probably should have made this a poll.

But if you want to count manually. I have AMD in my gaming box, Intel in my normal day to day desktop, and nvidia in my work machine.

I have one each in the past year. A GTX 670 in my main PC and an HD 7770 in a secondary rig. I'm very satisfied with both.

This won't end well. Also you would need an option for both, some of us actually use both :D

Guys my intention wasn't to start a argument/flame thread war at all and didn't even think about that happing, I mean its just a simple question poll. I am just curious to the percentage on AT for AMD, CFX, Nvidia and SLI owners in thier main gaming rig.

Currently 2x 680's in my main gaming rig. I swap the 7970's back in when it looks like my issues are fixed in driver releases to see if I can go back or not. Should have just sold them a year ago honestly.

Running a GTX 480 Hydrocopper.

Both camps have manufacturers offering lifetime warranties these days. I don't really have a brand preference as I've had good experiences with both. Games tend to be a wash so I make my purchase decision based off F@H performance, and that has meant NVIDIA for some time. But if I had cared anything for bitcoins I'd buy AMD.

Thanks to all that F@H I have some nice credit banked with EVGA, so if the GTX 880 / Maxwell is a large enough increase over Titan/780 to provide incentive then I may finally upgrade.

I did Nvidia from gefore 2 mx PCI, gefore 256bit ddr, geforece 4 ti 200, geforce 6800LE, 8800gt. All those were good deals and I wanted to stick to nvidia, but hey I vote with my wallet, and went to 4890 and now im looking to upgrade. Nvidia is not giving me a reason to upgrade, with the 7950 at 180AR and 4 games, I keep going back to AMD, even though at heart I want nvidia.

See signature.

$/performance on the high-end, plus bitcoin mining (before GPU mining became useless. AMD has been the winner the last few generations.

See signature. I probably won't upgrade until next year, maybe when 4k monitors/video gets sorted out more.

Why are these kinds of polls made?

I was just curious on the user percentages options above on AT and also curious how many guys are running multi GPU's CFX/SLI. Just for the record my last two cards were Nvidia (460/570) and was happy with them as I am with AMD now so I am not bias to either company or trying to start any arguments, etc with this poll.

So this is like, exactly opposite of the real world in terms of dGPU market share (NV leading 65 to 35% or so). Weird.
