Your post just invites trolling. Please post an actual question, i.e. a detailed one. Better for what? Cooking eggs on the GPU, playing games, decoding video...
And what card you bought, how should we know that? Mindreading? 😉

On a serious note both gpu companies are good and which gpu did you buy and for how much?

I will take a guess and say you bought a gtx550ti am i right?

Off the top of my head that's like the only card on the market right now with bad performance to dollar ratio.
 
Both are great... the alternative is Intel IGP 😛 ... and their drivers (which are probably fine).
I heard Intel skips abit on IQ, but... since its IGPs no one cares.
 
Nvidia is worse with the propaganda. Both companies make some good products and both do things to the disadvantage of the uninformed consumer. Lots of ram on a card that doesn't need it for example. If you do your research and ask advice before purchasing you'll probably not feel ripped off by either company.

Yes you should feel ripped off because new cards are just round the corner and prices will drop once they hit. Return your card and get a refund now!
 
Sorry but imho, forums such as these should block (as spam) new posters from asking a general question like this. It's the equivalent of a attention whore cry out. What's better Pepsi or Coke ? Let me get the popcorn and watch members argue.

its more like nvidia + amd vs intel. in 5 years there wont be graphics cards beneath 6850 and 460 levels.
