Perhaps I should have posted this in General Hardware?

Or even OT? (ok, maby not)

Whats also good is the rating of the article. It's now 1/5 (or 0/5, lowest rating) out of 162 votes. What does that say?

Probably that you guys are giving his site the most hits it has EVER had due to this horrible article.

This was clearly the intention. Now I feel bad for clicking the link... gah.

Hey I love this video card review. Its so vague I just couldn't stop laughing. And what exactly is a "powerful computer"?

Actually thats nothing compared to this sound card review.

Make sure you don?t touch your hair or anything before touching any of the parts in the computer, otherwise they might blow out.

Oooh scary!

If you're looking for a really good price on a sound card that plays music and sound like a BOSE music system, then this sound card is for you.

Just picture the BOSE media player inside of a computer.

AMD would face latency problems if the core processor acted by using the system bus from the computer, but AMD changed that immediately. Intel was the first to experience this problem, and the only way the system bus is used is when all of the memory is being used.

😕

Socket 939?s would be your best bet for these chips. Anything lower might not be able to support the power.

But, you could try plugging it into a S754 and see if it fits. It might even have enough power.

Intel?s Advanced Digital Media Boost significantly improves performance when executing Streaming SIMD Extension Instructions. This performance upgrade accelerates a large range of applications including video, speech and image, photo processing, encryption and much more. It uses a 128 bit encryption.

Encrypted x86 instructions? Nice!

I?m sure you all are probably wondering how well video looks with this video card. Well it?s quite simple, whether or not the overall specs are the greatest you will still get a great DVD picture with a 256 MB video card. I would say keep the screen resolution at about 1024 x 768 for best performance whether you?re watching a DVD or playing a game.

Yeah.

Normally at 2.4 GHZ you would notice a lot of heat. With the new Dual Core Processor by AMD, they have integrated a fan onto the chip so that it won?t overheat.

say WHAT?

whOOa! They have MEMS on board!

LOL by his logic my fx5700 256mg should be better than my 6600gt 128mg :Q, hah, is this guy on something? 😕

For 1024 * 768 a 16mg gfx card will be fine for windows and movie watching as its not using much mem anyways.

I also like the thing about amd overheating, i can put my finger on the side of the core of my single core and i cant feel it being even warm, thats with a blue ord 2 which is an overkill for a 3200+. 🙂

Sound cards are pretty much needed in PC?s now days. If you don?t have a sound card, the case is simple? You don?t hear a thing except for the old PC sounds you used to hear a long time ago.

Did he ever hear about onboard sound ?

Wow, I?m getting a good laugh from this. Just how did this guy get the chance to write an article for this website, much less get it published given the horrid grammar and faulty information? It is funny but a bit scary as well. I feel badly for the poor sods that trusted the info from this article.

Sorry, but I can't resist

In an overall matter price isn?t that big a deal with video cards. I have actually seen low priced video cards perform better then higher priced ones, it can definitely happen, but it?s not likely when you look at the higher priced ones rather then the lower priced ones.

Help! I?m gotten stupider the more I red!

I can't read any more of that site... 😕 I can feel my IQ dropping. 😕

Umm, you could easily have put them 3 posts into one. Cheap way to raise post count.
