"Written by Administrator" Good thing the author didn't identify him/herself ;) They would probably never be albe to find a job in the tech sector again.......although given the fact that they are an idiot, it may be difficult for them to find one anyway ;)

Is there an online Shitlist to name and shame the worst reviewers and sites around? If not there is a definite need for it.

And the idiot can't even spell.
AMD has improved a lot over the years and while there reputation for overheating isn?t as ?talked? about as it used to be, Intel can find themselves hunting in dangerous waters when AMD comes to town with a new processor.
"there" should be "their". I learned that in grade school.

And his name is on the article:
Written by Jason Freeden

So we know who the idiot is !

And here is a good one:
I will warn you though that overclocking any sort of processor is putting the chip set in danger of blowing up or overheating to the point where the chip will literally melt.

You have to read this article just to get a good laugh !

And grammer too:
The FX chip was very expensive to make so they needed to charge enough money to actually make a profit off it them.

Surely the ability to hold out longer in life span would be which processor is better.

another entry for the bad grammer checklist. :disgust:

"Many people that aren?t computer literate only look at the speed of a processor however and that?s not you?re supposed to look at only"

HAHAHAHAHAH!!! This guy does not know what he is talking about. The article is about as non technical as a game of checkers.

I just wish i could find anywhere on their (oops... there) website with an email address... a contact page of any sort. I would edit that article to fix the grammar and then i would re-write to reflect the true state of affairs.

And my current machine is Intel, the one before it was AMD so I am not a raving fan-boi... right now i like AMD better.. they have the better tech... but when conroe comes out.. who knows?

The author's an IDIOT. I haven't read anything that muddled since Baghdad Bob was telling us how the invasion was really going.

That has to be a joke...
he uses there instead of their in every article (just by looking at the 3 line summary thingy on the Proc. page)

Once a year I volunteer to judge the junior high science fair at my mom's school.

This would have placed in the bottom 3rd, behind the kid who put orange rinds in the garbage disposal to see if it would smell better.

I'm pretty sure the majority of articles on that site are just content filler for search engines. Fortunately it's not working very well.

I know this is kind of OT, because it's in CPU, but you guys have to read this
http://www.techarray.com/memory/what_makes_ddr_ii_better.html

DDR was capable of running at bus speeds of up to 533 MHZ

RAM helps out of the graphics processor a lot in a computer so DDR II wanted to assist the video card so that is could allow gamers to perform at optimal levels, even if they didn?t have the best video card possible

there are some others there. That guy is an idiot...

Perhaps I should have posted this in General Hardware?

Or even OT? (ok, maby not)

Whats also good is the rating of the article. It's now 1/5 (or 0/5, lowest rating) out of 162 votes. What does that say?

AMD overheating? Seriously, which runs hotter? Duh, INTEL! Aren't called thermonuclear furnaces for nothing....

As soon as he admits being Intel biased, the rest of the article isn't worth reading.

I'm going to have to agree that it's our very own Intellia who wrote those articles. Seriously, it's going to be tough topping this writer for sheer idiocy. Out of a possible 10, this get's a 9 on the WTF meter.

LMAO, but they should really take down the rest of their articles as well. All of the ones I looked at are completely ridiculous, and I know less about computers than most of the people here at AT.
