AMD vs. Intel Article on TechArray

Somewere in there it says that AMD chips have a tendancy to overheat. WTF?

Does this person really know anything about AMD chips at all? What happened to the FX-60, among other things.

Think the article is bias?
I am a big fan of Intel and live by there company. I would go with Intel, but I?m sure in a test of who gets more purchases, it would be quite even.

My favorite:
Intel?s chips last longer then AMD?s, it?s just that simple. Don?t let AMD?s shorter life span fool you though.
WTF?

Let me quote a few other things:
AMD has improved a lot over the years and while there reputation for overheating isn?t as ?talked? about as it used to be

I did say which processor would hold out better in the long run, and Intel is definitely ahead by a larger margin then AMD is.

In four multitasking tests Intel took three out of those four. The only one AMD took was with there second most powerful chip. Intel?s RAM board settings really came through for them here.

AMD is definitely known for its processing power, but it also has a minor reputation of overheating so they really needed to work on that.

I think all of the quotes are WTF material.

Cliffs:
-Writer has no idea what he's talking about
-admits he's biased towareds Intel
-WTF?

The writer is clueless.

Normally at 2.4 GHZ you would notice a lot of heat. With the new Dual Core Processor by AMD, they have integrated a fan onto the chip so that it won?t overheat.

say WHAT?

"The FX-57 is used in a lot of the AMD PC?s now days, so if you?re deciding to buy one then a PC with the FX-57 wouldn?t be such a bad idea."

I saw that and just skipped the rest....

WTF is a "ram board"?!

And yes, the author is clueless. Techarray is on my shitlist now 🙂

Wow, that site is retarded.

It's not just that article either from the looks of it.

As soon as the page loads, be sure to rate the article a 1 and vote AMD as your favorite processor; then promptly close it.

It?s very rare that you see an AMD PC priced higher then Intel, this is because Intel uses a much more advanced chipset, and also cools there chip much more than AMD does

Rofl!

They need to cool that chip off more cause it runs too hot 😉 (at least the Netburst ones)

(maybe except Northwood's though)

Hrm...a fan integrated into the processor...that dude actually has a fairly good idea 😛

My OC'd A64 runs cooler than my bro's POS celeron lmao.

Yeah, definitely at least 1/2. I'm still a newbie at AT and I think I could have written something better than that.

This is a two core processor meaning games wouldn?t fully recognize the 2.4 GHZ speed. If you want an Athlon chip for gaming go with the Athlon FX, it really packs a lot of power in a single chip.

^ wtf lol.....

this guy sounds like one of those best buy tools, the ones that come off as knowing their ****** to the unsuspecting joe schmoe......but in reality are just as clueless as the buyer

I think a room full of chimpanzees with typwriters could have done better by hitting random keys...🙂
