Yup, definitely brand new.

it doesnt do jack, doesnt improve anything in benchmarks. Except now my proc runs about 1.5 degrees higher.

This update is only meant for Mobile CPU's in laptops, it has no effect on desktop processors whatsoever!

It just updates some power saving features, etc. Strange that it's been made available on winupdate now.
